Howdy!
My name is Sean D. Stuber.
I am an Oracle Developer/DBA based out of central Ohio, USA. I specialize in design and tuning of applications written in PL/SQL and SQL. While my main job is actually doing the administration and development, my real passion is teaching others how to get the most from their database. To this end I spend a great deal of time helping coworkers improve their queries, writing articles, volunteering on technology Q&A sites, and presenting at conferences such as Collaborate and KScope.
I have OCA, OCE, OCS, and OCP certifications in various topics and was named an Oracle ACE in late 2017, rebranded as “Oracle ACE Pro” in 2022.
In this blog I post articles and code samples primarily focusing on SQL and PL/SQL, but I do use peripheral technologies and will explore those areas as well.
My degree is in Pure Mathematics so from time to time I like to post math-based functions or examples that illustrate interesting math features.
Questions and comments are always welcome, especially if you can find some way to improve upon anything I post.
